Who we are

The Rossini Perez Institute (IRP) is a private, non-profit organization created to preserve the memory and collection of the Brazilian artist Rossini Perez and to foster research and curation with artists' collections, with a special focus on artistic connections woven in and across the Global South.

Our collection is a reflection of this mission and is comprised of a set of prints produced by Rossini Perez, as well as his experimentations in multiple languages such as photography, collage, drawing and textile art. In addition, the Institute understands that archival practice should be read as a vigorous expression of his work.

Our structure is formed by a Board of Directors, under the supervision of the Supervisory Board. Both bodies are instructed by an Advisory Board made up of a body of curators, teachers, artists and museologists who value and support our work.
